Paccar has reported EPS and revenue that beat analysts estimates for the past two quarters. JP Morgan stated in July that it believes market share gains in Europe and a recovery for heavy duty truck demand in North America can bring positive estimate revisions for the company. The firm gave Paccar an Overweight rating. However on September 26, Merrill Lynch downgraded the company to Neutral from Buy, citing a slowdown in Europe.
