Stocks discussed in the lightning round session of Jim Cramer’s Mad Money TV program, Monday, October 20.
Bullish Calls:
McDonald’s (MCD) -- “I am bullish on McDonald’s. I recommend buying the stock on any pullback.”
Apple (AAPL) -- “I will only recommend Apple as a long-term play – 18 months. I won’t endorse a trade on Tuesday’s earnings report.”
Joy Global (JOYG) -- “I prefer Joy Global to Arch Coal.”
Bearish Calls:
Eagle Materials (EXP) -- "Housing materials companies are just too darned hard right now. Sell these names on any rally strength."
Sherwin Williams (SHW) -- "It’s too early in the cycle to own Sherwin-Williams. I recommend that investors wait."
Arch Coal (ACI) -- "Wait for a pullback. These coal stocks have rallied too much off a good quarter from Peabody Energy (BTU).”

Notice that as usual cramer makes a call after a good move...Never did cramer say a word abour BTU or ACI before they moved up..Now, cramer mentions the stocks on the way down ..The grossly overrrated cramer will never change - Basically, he is useless ..A tv "talking bald head" !2008 Oct 24 01:27 PM | Link | Reply
