China's stock market just can't get going. Back in September, it looked as if China's Shanghai Composite may have made a bottom after breaking above its 50-day moving average. The breakout was short-lived, however, and just today the index made a new 52-week low.

But while China's stock market continues to struggle mightily, the rest of Asia has been performing very well. Below are six-month price charts of the major equity indices for Hong Kong, India, and Japan. As shown, all three countries have upward trending markets, and Japan has gone parabolic over the last seven trading days.
