Analyst Views

The company was upgraded to Buy from Neutral by Goldman Sachs in October. The firm upgraded American Tower citing its defensive attributes where credit is availability is expected to remain limited. The company's shares were also added to the firm's Conviction Buy List.

However, Morgan Stanley lowered estimates for American Tower, Crown Castle International (CCI) and SBA Communications (SBAC) estimates due to higher debt costs and the weak macro environment.
