Williams Companies (NYSE:WMB) is expected to report Q3 earnings before market open Thursday Nov. 6, with a conference call scheduled for 9:30 am ET.
Analysts are looking for a profit of 65c on revenue of $3.55B. The consensus is 49c to 84c for EPS, and revenue of $2.54B to $4.75B, according to First Call.
Williams missed by a penny when it reported its Q2 earnings in August, reporting a Q2 EPS of 68c vs. a consensus of 69c. The company also gave guidance, saying that it sees FY08 EPS of $2.35 to $2.80 vs. a consensus at the time of $2.73, and FY09 EPS of $2.10 to $2.95 vs. a consensus at the time of $2.86. Since that time, the consensus expectations for FY08 and FY09 have been lowered to $2.41 and $2.14, respectively. Williams also announced in October that its preliminary estimates indicate the effect of hurricanes Gustav and Ike will reduce its Q308 consolidated segment profit by $50M to $70M, primarily in the company's Midstream business segment.
