During the week of December 3rd eight Dividend Aristocrats will go Ex-Dividend. They are Brown-Forman Co (NYSE:BF.B), Stanley Black & Decker (NYSE:SWK), Wal-Mart (NYSE:WMT), Kimberly-Clark (NYSE:KMB), Genuine Parts Co (NYSE:GPC), Leggett & Platt (NYSE:LEG), VF Corp (NYSE:VFC), and Becton, Dickinson & Co (NYSE:BDX). In this article the second four will be reviewed. Part one was published on 12/03/12.

Genuine Parts Co Ex-Dividend 12/05/12

GPC distributes automotive replacement parts, industrial replacement parts office products and electrical/electronic materials throughout North America. The company operates three divisions: the Automotive Parts Group, the Industrial Parts Group, and the Office Products Group.

As of the close of business Monday the stock was trading at $64.65 and an annual dividend yield of 3.00%. In 2000 GPC was paying $0.2754 per quarter in dividends, today it is paying $0.495 a quarter in dividends.

Leggett & Platt -Ex-Dividend 12/06/12

LEG designs and processes various engineered components worldwide. This company operates in four divisions: Residential Furnishings, Commercial Fixtures & Components, Industrial Materials, and Specialized Products. They make everything from bed frames to lumbar massage systems. LEG pretty much makes any consumer or industrial product that steel goes into.

As of the close of trading Monday LEG was trading at $27.43 and offering a dividend yield of 4.20%. Back in 2000 the quarterly dividend was $0.10 a quarter. Today the quarterly dividend is 0.2899.

VF Corp sells clothing, apparel, footwear and outdoor clothing as well as skateboard and surfboard inspired clothing, and is the officially licensed producer of MLB, NFL, and Harley-Davidson brand apparel.

As of the close of business Monday this stock was trading at $161.05 with a yield of 2.20%. In 2000 the company was offering a dividend of $0.22 a quarter. Today it is paying $0.72 a quarter.

Becton, Dickinson & Co -Ex-Dividend 12/06/12

BDX manufactures medical devices, instrument systems, and reagents worldwide. The company operates three divisions: the BD Medical unit, the BD Diagnostics unit, and the BD Biosciences unit. This company sells everything from needles to rapid diagnostic assays and fluorescence-activated (animal) cell sorters.

As of the close of the markets Monday this stock was trading at $76.24 and paying an annual dividend yield of 2.60%. In 2000 the company was paying a $0.0925 dividend per quarter. Today it is paying $0.45 dividend quarterly.
