Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS): “At 74, GS will be an unbelievable buy…I f you can buy stock for 40 dollars less than Warren Buffett …can I say you are smart?”

Chubb Corp (NYSE:CB) : “They are a great property and casualty.”

Travelers Companies (NYSE:TRV): “They did not bother insuring financial instruments.”

Bearish calls:

 

 ABB Ltd (NYSE:ABB): “Don’t pull the trigger…this was one of the few infrastructures I was not bullish on…they are a house of pain.”

 Principal Financial Group (NYSE:PFG): “ No I don’t want anything the annuity business.”

Manulife Financial (NYSE:MFC), Hartford Financial Services (NYSE:HIG), MetLife (NYSE:MET)

Intel (NASDAQ:INTC): “Is having a problematic period… the CEO was kind enough to tell this is the worst market he’s ever seen…people say why not buy and hold it? Okay…I want you to buy Intel, but I don’t want you to look at it until a hundred years from now…”
