We then screened for those also seeing bullish trends in shares shorted month-over-month, with significant decreases in shares shorted representing at least 2% of share float.

It's possible that in addition to the market's optimism (as indicated by the rally), short sellers' rush to cover their positions could bring share price even higher and further momentum.
