2 Dividend Aristocrats Go Ex-Dividend This Week

During the week of December 10th two Dividend Aristocrats will go Ex-Dividend. They are Automatic Data Processing (NASDAQ:ADP) and T Rowe Price Group Inc. (NASDAQ:TROW).

Automatic Data Processing -Ex-Dividend 12/12/12

ADP provides outsourcing solutions. I am sure that most of us are aware of their outsourced payroll solution for businesses as well as the ADP Payroll report that is a leading economic indicator for employment. This company also offers a full range of HR outsourcing as well as traditional and web-based outsourcing solutions to employers in the U.S., Canada, Europe, South America, Australia, and Asia.

This company operates in three divisions: Employer Services, Professional Employer Organization Services, and Dealer Services. Employer Services offers employment administration services to retail and merchandise firms including payroll, payroll tax filing, 401K administration, and other fringe benefits administration. The Professional Employer Organization Services division provides similar features, but focuses on professional services firms. The Dealer Services division offers integrated inventory management as well as sales and relationship management services systems for the auto, truck, marine, recreational vehicles and heavy equipment dealers throughout the world.

As of the close of trading Friday, ADP was trading at $57.31 a share and was paying a 3.00% dividend annually. In 2000, ADP was paying a $0.0875 dividend quarterly. Today it is paying a $0.395 dividend annually.

T. Rowe Price Group, Inc. -Ex-Dividend 12/12/12

TROW provides asset management services to individuals and institutions through retirement planning and financial intermediaries. It also manages (through its subsidiaries) client-focused equity, fixed income, and balanced portfolios.

TROW is currently trading at $64.84 and is offering a 2.10% dividend annually. In 2000, TROW was paying a $00.065 dividend quarterly and today is paying a $0.34 divided end each quarter. There was also a 2:1 stock split during that time.
