Today was another bad day for the major indices, with the Nasdaq making a new closing low, and the Dow and S&P 500 getting awfully close.  Since Election Day, the Dow is down 14%, the S&P 500 is down 15%, and the Nasdaq is down 16%.  And that was just last Tuesday!

Were you planning on adding anything of value? I can find this on Google finance. And why the hell is this a lead article?

Are Bespoke and SA admitting they have no clue about what to say and are therefore defaulting to reporting readily available data?

Thank you Captain Obvious. Can you also post yesterday's weather?

Hey, but you gotta admit something. Even this is better than the folks calling the bottom.

Besoke is far more precise at pin-pointing significant market activity than know exactly what to look for. Yes, they do point out the obvious but to most people it is an elusive obvious. They distill facts and do not predict the future. They frequently send out similar reports. I find it very useful and don't spend hours glued to my computer digging around. I want a succinct presentation of the market facts of the day, Is History yesterday's weather?

Im with Chubb in that sometimes Bespoke does print interesting things that otherwise miss my attention. The problem for me is that its scatter gun. Even if there is an aspect of the market that appears interesting, it could well be the last time it gets a mention. Without follow through, it becomes entertainment rather than a base for analysis.

To me the 3 charts presented by Bespoke tells a lot ie the dire state of the markets. It means be careful, new lows likely. Many also argue otherwise, we make our own analysis and conclusions.

Well, how low CAN they go? Are you going to answer the question or just spit out meaningless statistics we already know.
