Investors are plowing into long-dated Treasuries again today, sending yields back near their lowest levels of the year. As shown below, the 10-Year Treasury yield is down to 3.4%. Declining Treasury yields have coincided with declining stock prices, as investors flee more risky assets (sell stocks) for less risky ones (buy government bonds). As shown in the charts below, the 10-Year Treasury yield has stopped going down around current levels a few other times this year. Hopefully it turns around from these levels once again.
