Partial ETF Update: Neutral on the Market

Each week we provide an update on the sector rankings from our TCA-ETF system. We do this for general information and discussion, and we also provide some insight into our own trades.

It is a little complicated. An ETF can have a positive rating in our system, but still be rejected if it is in our "penalty box." This basically means that the sector does not qualify for buying on several important criteria developed by our modeling guru, Vince Castelli. You can think of it as a "stop" but it has more criteria than price.

This week's report will be delayed until tomorrow, in order to explain better the current rankings and some recent trades.

The report will feature The China 25 Index Fund, (FXI) which has moved into the #2 spot in our ranking behind gold miners (GDX) featured last week. We have also moved to "neutral" on the market. We bought FXI and a few other sectors last week.
