Stocks discussed on Jim Cramer’s Stop Trading! TV program, Monday December 8.
Cramer said Monday’s rally was due to short covering and “Obama magic.” However, he said 10% jumps are “wearing on me” and some stocks like Disney are moving too far too fast.
WalMart (WMT) Meets Apple (AAPL), Motorola (MOT), Nokia (NOK)
Rumors that Apple’s 8GB phone will be sold at Wal-Mart for only $99 (it currently sells at $199) are good for Apple, said Cramer, in spite of the fact that it doesn’t fit with the company’s strategy in the past. Cramer says teaming up with Wal-Mart would be a “fabulous strategy,” because even though the discount is deep, Wal-Mart attracts 100 million customers a week. The only negative impact could be on Motorola’s and Nokia’s earnings
