Stocks discussed in the lightning round session of Jim Cramer’s Mad Money TV program, Friday December 12.

Bullish Calls:

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD): ‘I suggest [instead of Nvidia] you go to a speculative name, AMD.”
Express Scripts (ESRX): “I like it. That is a good stock in this environment. It saves companies money because it does prescriptions in bulk. Buy, buy buy.”
Wachovia (WB): “Yes, yes yes. When you buy Wachovia you buy Wells Fargo which I thnk will dominate the mortgage market for some time to come.”

Thermo Fisher Scientific (TMO): “Under pressure, cut in half, that’s a little vicious. This is the kind of company that will come roaring back, because it supplies equipment to biotech which is not economically sensitive….when it goes to the low 20s, it will be a gift.”
BP (BP): “Has a bountiful yield…they can cover it …has a huge ability to rationalize and get rid of properties.”

Bearish Calls:

Nvidia (NVDA): “ I don’t like these graphic chip plays…Invidia’s chart is great. I only wish the fundamentals were too.”
MGM Mirage (MGM): “No I want you to avoid that. I am looking at the balance sheet of that company and I find it quite scary.”
Las Vegas Sands (LVS): “|…the gambling business is absolutely through the floor. Sell, sell, sell. I don’t want to touch them.”
PetMed Express (PETS): “No, no, no. We don’t like the competition in that area. We are fearful a WalMart could come in a wreck margins. Sell, sell sell.”
Imperial Oil (IMO): “We are going to buy oil if it has a dividend and yours has a very skimpy dividend. It is limited on the upside if oil goes lower.”

In about two weeks, Cramer will reverse all these calls. The guy is a clown, and a not very consistent one at that.
