From ZDNet:

It’s not just Google (GOOG) that’s beating Yahoo (YHOO), Microsoft (MSFT) and all of the other Web search engines out there. Now, Google-owned YouTube is seeing more queries than the others, increasing Google’s overall lead in search.

According to a monthly comScore report, YouTube search queries in the U.S. grew 8 percent from October to November while Yahoo search queries dropped 3 percent and Microsoft and AOL were both down 6 percent in the same time period. Google’s search queries were down 2 percent but the overall figure - taking into account YouTube’s gain - is flat.

Overall, Google’s market share lead over Yahoo, Microsoft, Ask and AOL grew slightly, up to 63.5 percent (+0.4%) compared to Yahoo’s 20.4 percent (-0.1%) and Microsoft’s 8.3 percent (-0.2%).
