Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Friday January 18.
Bullish Calls:
KKR (KFN): "This is the best and has the highest yield in the group. I have been behind it for ages, and I'm sticking with it."
Synovus Financial (SNV): "I think it is coming back. It is a great spec stock. I want to see the quarter. I want to see if TARP is repaid, and if so, I want to pull the trigger."
International Rectifier Corporation (IRF): "If the semi sector is coming back, IRF is a buy."
AIG (AIG): "AIG gives you the most upside."
Bearish Calls:
Verizon (VZ): "People want excitement, and they want global growth. Verizon is strictly a domestic play ... it is just a hold. If it goes lower, you can buy it if you want a dividend stock, but we want global growth."
Aflac (AFL): "Aflac is too high." (Cramer prefers AIG).
