DJIA: First Trading Day Results

Last Friday’s big gain to start 2009 was the best percentage start to a new year since 2003 began with a 3.2% gain.

2003 ended with healthy returns on all the major indices. That followed a dismal full year 2002.

I’m hoping this time around will bring a similar rebound year after a horrendous 2008.

It's posible that 2009 will be a rebound year. The real question is from which bottom? My personal opinion is that we haven't seen the real bottom yet.
