Learning to Love Volatility - Everyone knows that the market has been up and down lately, and many people see this as a cause for concern. Cramer, however, suggests ways to ride the waves of volatility, and gives three main causes for the current flux. First, many brokers have abandoned positioning, which involves gradual, rather than sudden, selling. Brokers have decided that positioning isn't profitable; "Commission is too low and interest rates are too high," Cramer said. The second cause of volatility are ETFs or Exchange Traded Funds, which affect the market's flow more dramatically than individual stocks. Third, hedge funds tend to buy and sell stocks quickly, setting off the market.

To cash in on market volatility, Cramer recommends a company like Occidental Petroleum (OXY), which is not hedged, and which can stand to gain or lose. He then suggests buying and selling in increments according to the behavior of the stock: "Treat trading like a dance," he said. "When the stock goes up, sell a little, and when it goes down, buy a little."

A Natural Pick: Dynegy (DYN) - Cramer suggests buying Dynergy, which he believes should be much higher and which expects to sell itself in the near future. This stock, which is a pure play in coal and natural gas power, has cleaned up its debt and has replaced most of its senior management.

CEO Interview: Todd Bruce, the president and CEO of Crystallex International (KRY) - Cramer asked Todd Bruce about KRY's efforts to get gold out of its mine in Venezuela. Bruce is confident that mining will begin soon, and KRY now is poised to get the thumbs up from the Ministry of the Environment. Todd Bruce says that the machinery is in Houston, ready to be sent once the government gives its approval. When asked why President Hugo Chavez would allow a private company to come to Venezuela, Todd Bruce responded that many companies already operate there, and he doubts that Chavez would be concerned about more activity.
