Interested in emerging markets? If so, here are some ideas to get you started.

Most investors looking to invest outside the U.S. require the comfort of knowing that the companies have strong long-term growth potential. Hence, we researched U.S.-traded stocks from the BRIC countries (Brazil, Russia, India and China) for those with high-growth prospects, with five-year projected EPS growth above 15%. We found around 50 stocks that met the criteria.

Finally, we looked for those with bullish trends in shares shorted, with significant decreases in shares shorted month-over-month.

A strong EPS growth potential and short covering signals that a significant pool of investors is optimistic about these names. We feel Main Street investors would be wise to add these stocks to their watch-list for continued upside.
