Since my January 4 article titled "3 Stocks With Recent Intensive Insider Buying", the stocks that I featured have performed as follows:

In this article, I will feature three additional stocks that have seen intensive insider buying during the last 30 days.

Intensive insider buying can be defined by the following three criteria:

  1. The stock is purchased by three or more insiders within one month.
  2. The stock is sold by no insiders in the month of intensive purchasing.
  3. At least two purchasers increase their holdings by more than 10%.

Outlook

According to Vetnosis, a research and consulting firm specializing in global animal health and veterinary medicine, the animal health medicines and vaccines market for livestock and companion animals represented a global market of $22 billion, as measured by 2011 revenues. The market grew at a compound annual growth rate [CAGR] of 6% between 2006 and 2011 and the market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 6% per year between 2011 and 2016.

My analysis

The stock started trading on February 1 after the initial public offering. There have been 14 different insiders buying and there have not been any insiders selling the shares since the IPO. The IPO was priced at $26 and the stock is currently trading at $33. I have a neutral bias for the stock currently based on the sizable rally since the IPO.

2. WashingtonFirst Bankshares (NASDAQ:WFBI) operates as the holding company for WashingtonFirst Bank that provides commercial banking products and services to small and medium sized businesses, not-for-profit organizations, professional service firms, and individuals in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

My analysis

The stock has a $16.5 price target from the Point and Figure chart. There have been 10 different insiders buying and there have not been any insiders selling the shares during the past 30 days. I have a neutral bias for the stock currently based on the mixed technical and fundamental picture.

3. MBAC Fertilizer (OTCPK:MBCFF) engages in the mining, exploration, and production of phosphate and potash fertilizers in Brazil. It processes and sells phosphate rock to local farmers.

Itafós project

Santana phospate project

Araxá project

  • A pilot plant is currently being built for testing and confirmation of the results achieved in the laboratory with pilot plant testing expected to be completed during Q2 2013.

My analysis

There have been four different insiders buying and there have not been any insiders selling the shares during the past 30 days. Revenue from the company's most advanced Itafós project are expected during the first quarter 2013. The Itafós project has a NPV of approximately $346 million. I have a cautiously bullish bias for the stock currently based on the intensive insider buying and several upcoming milestones.
