Below we provide a list of the 30 best-performing leveraged ETFs so far in 2013. With stocks strong out of the gate, it's no surprise that the triple-long (3x) equity ETFs have been the best performers. As shown, the 3x semiconductors ETF (NYSEARCA:SOXL) is up the most with a YTD gain of 36.04%, followed by the 3x midcap (NYSEARCA:MIDU) and the 3x long financials (NYSEARCA:FAS). The 3x small-cap ETF (NYSEARCA:TNA) ranks fourth best with a gain of 25.94%, while the 3x long Dow 30 ETF (NYSEARCA:UDOW) rounds out the top five.
