Recap of Jim Cramer’s comments on Stop Trading! Thursday June 8. Click on a stock ticker for more analysis:
Comerica (CMA) and PetroChina (PTR): Cramer notes that these stocks have fallen dramatically and suggests them as buys because of their dividend yields.
Procter & Gamble (PG): PG performed well on Thursday with a 3% gain, although Cramer has been concerned about this company's earnings. Cramer believes this might signal a general upward trend for defensive stocks as investors fear an impending recession. "I don't think P&G's that good a number; I don't think Bernanke's ordering a recession," Cramer said. "But that shows how negative we've gotten on the cyclicals."
