The year is now two months old, and below is a look at the 50 Russell 3,000 stocks that have done the best so far in 2013. Three stocks are already up more than 100% year-to-date, and Keryx Biopharma (KERX) leads the way with a gain of 145.42%. SunPower (SPWR) ranks second with a YTD gain of 108.99%, while Netflix (yes, Netflix (NFLX)) ranks third with a gain of 103.13%. Parkervision (PRKR) and Furiex Pharma (FURX) round out the top five with gains above 90%.

Most of this year's big winners are stocks that aren't very well known, but along with Netflix, a few noteworthy names on the list include Caesars Entertainment (CZR), Zillow (Z), Trulia (TRLA) and LinkedIn (LNKD).

We'll check back in at the end of March to see which of these names remain in the top 50 and which have dropped off.
