by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the lightning round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Thursday March 5.

Bullish Calls:

Waste Management Services (WMI): Sell yours (NYSE:RSG), buy mine… mine has got a 5% yield… 5% yield with a company that has pretty consistent earnings… I say that is one worth owning.”
Qwest (NYSE:Q): “ …these are little guys that I would put in there wild card so to speak… so I am not against buying some Qwest… and I think that the yield is safe… and they are making a nice turn in that company.”
BHP Billiton (NYSE:BHP): “If we get into that game, BHP Billiton. We have got that great yield and we have got the
China factor.”
Verizon (NYSE:VZ): “I am going to go with tail-gunner Ivan [CEO Ivan Seidenberg]… I think that he has got that good yield and it is save… and it has got the Verizon wireless.”

Bearish Calls:

Republic Services Inc (RSG)
Cummins (NYSE:CMI): “…it doesn’t have a 5% yield yet and is very industrial. I think it is still going to go lower… I want you to take a little off of the table.”
UPS (NYSE:UPS): “You listen to the UPS conference call you can hear a lot of great things… it is incredibly well-run… so I would tell you, I would hold onto my UPS… but you may have to strap yourself in… because it could go down to a 5% yield.”

Cleveland Cliffs (NYSE:CLF), MetroPCS Communications (PCS)
