Stocks discussed on the lightning round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Monday March 9.

Bullish Calls:

Consolidated Edison (ED): "I am not worried, I am amazed. The utility index is flashing like major, major recession, if not depressions. I mean when I see Con Ed at 7% yield, and I know the business is fine, I do want to pull the trigger, but I now sound like a broken record from $38 all the way down to $32. It is a good situation… I don’t know what else do say."

Verizon (VZ): "We have Verizon yielding 7%."

Johnson & Johnson (JNJ): "I do not believe that the Remicaid is going to matter that much to JNJ… in other words I don’t think JNJ is going to overpay… that is not their style… I want to buy."

Bearish Calls:

Deere & Co (DE): "This is one of those companies that has been just alienated bad, and I have to tell you, it ain’t over. They missed the quarter, they should have made the quarter. This $25 stock sees $20 before I will pull the trigger."

Atlas Energy Resources (ATN): "No, that is one of those that I think the yield is flashing danger, danger, danger. It is a natural gas producer, natural gas is going to have a hard time holding $4. I think even at these prices it could still go to $5."

Activision (ATVI): "We can’t go down there and start buying Activision. This market is too awful for that. I am sorry, I have got to go with the major leaguers."

Looking at Cramers' calls for the last few months has provided great amusement. His recommendations have been horrible and have tanked. I'm now listening to him to see which stocks he dislikes, since it seems that those are the ones that are actually going up.

Bought ATN at 8.25. Had forgotten about this one until Cramer mentioned it the other day. Thanks, Jim.
