Seeking Alpha
About this author:

Congrats to the Dendreon (DNDN) longs… really. I know what you're feeling. You held on for so long, you earned this gain. The happiness regarding the potential to see this game-changing-technology, and how it will benefit thousands of people… you're a part of it.

It's a good feeling, and you want to keep being a shareholder… I know.

But don’t forget the people in the shadows on this one. The minority want to see DNDN fail, and it is their mission to protect the status quo.

The best piece of info that I can give (this from a man that has lived through your very emotions): Sell a chunk of it NOW, or protect the vast majority of the gains via longer-term Puts (probably the Jan 2010 20 strike puts).

Congrats again, and I truly hope the treatment can get out to the people that need it the most. But please, put emotion aside and protect your gains.

Congratulations to DNDN traders. Wow. This is big news. I did trade DNDN some time ago and jsut forgot to keep an eye on it the past months. High risk and now high reward. I do not have a current position in DNDN...

Not that I don't agree with the author here to some extent, but I question why this was published on Seeking Alpha. There is absolutely no substance to this article. It would have been more appropriate as an instablog - in fact, I thought that was sorta the point behind the instablogs; to separate these types of submissions from "articles".

As is, this is the author's only submission in about six months and I'd have to question why the author wants to create a sense of panic over DNDN. It's also noteworthy that the author is completely anonymous, so it's about as trustworthy as a Yahoo message board post.

Congratulations DNDN traders. I would take some profits. I do not hold a long or short position at this time but did trade some DNDN options some time ago. I forgot about them lately and wish I had been watching them the last month or so. Good work to those who hung on.

no sense of panic here. look at my earlier DNDN articles (years ago, after the panel votes). I was one of the originals in the stock prior to the IMPACT study, and speak of caution, not panic, due to experience.

I earned then lost my first small fortune in this stock. Lessons of protection are expensive ones... hope u do not have to experience it.

read the older DNDN articles, and come up with ur own conclusions via content... not via anonymity

(I do not submit articles... SA takes what they want, but my blog is far more trader oriented, via TA and indicators, versus content/opinion on a stock... and SA prefers the latter)

All I can say is congratulations. The skeptics were all over this name for years. Let us all hope this is the beginning of the end of the vile Prostate Cancer. DNDN management should be commended. The FDA needs to wake up fast.
