Stocks discussed on the lightning round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Thursday April 24.
Bullish Calls
Qualcomm (QCOM): "It is the guts, it is the brains of almost every cell phone out there. I think the quarter is real good, that is the one that I want to be in."
Lowes (LOW): "I like the mix of business with insurance and the Diamond Offshore and I think that you want to buy Lowe's right here… it has come down too much already."
Sprint-Nextel (S): "I think that Sprint Nextel is an excellent speculation buy, and I have been keeping it that way since the price of $4. I am sticking with it as a spec buy, not an investment."
Verizon (VZ), AT&T (T): "I like Verizon...AT&T."
Dominion Resources (D), Con Edison (ED): "...they both give you 6% and I do not think that they are going to have no problems with cap-n-trade."
Travelers (TRV): "I think Travelers buys the property and casualty business from Hartford (Financial Services)… and Travelers goes up huge on it."
Qualcomm (QCOM): "It is the guts, it is the brains of almost every cell phone out there. I think the quarter is real good, that is the one that I want to be in."
Bearish Calls:
Wisconsin Energy (WEC)
Hologic (HOLX): "I feel like I have got burned in Hologic. I did not like that last acquisition."
Principal Financial Group (PFG): "I have to tell you that I do not have any conviction about PFG."
Nokia (NOK)
