Finisar Corp(FNSR): 'I think that FNSR's just too cheap to avoid but ... this group peaked when T bought Bell South, and it not re-accelerate until that merger closes.
Ashland Inc. (ASH): '.... it just quietly goes step-by-step, inch-by-inch higher ... ASH is two thumbs up, but not way up because it's boring.'
Lifecell Corp (LIFC): 'LIFC is the artificial, regenerative tissue ... it's a good slowdown stock.'
ITT Educational Services (ESI): 'the only one of those companies in the educational business, that I will validate or bless, is ITT Educational (ESI). It's ... gotten the Good Housekeeping seal of approval from all the other guys who keep investigating these stocks.'
Alcan Inc. (AL)
Foster Wheeler (FWLT): 'FWLT's having a darn good quarter - nobody cares. It should be listed on the NYSE, but it can't right now - a little net worth issue. I think that the infrastructure plays are en fuego. This company builds nuclear plants; it builds coal bed plants. It is instrumental in the whole big infrastructure play, the bears are relentless. I think FWLT right here - I'd buy it aggressively.'
News Corp (NWS): 'I have suggested that people who want to be in that entertainment game gravitate to NWS-A. Two thumbs up, way up!'
Lockheed Martin Company (LMT): 'that stock is a powerhouse! I can't believe how it held up in this downturn.'
Gen Dynamics CP (GD)
Panera Bread (PNRA): ' ... that stock is going to come back ... They have a lunch menu that's just starting and a dinner menu.'
Starbucks (SBUX): 'PNRA and SBUX are both down too much - I'm buying!'
Whole Foods Market (WFMI)
Harley Davidson (HDI): 'HDI - a great American brand. The shorts have already pressed it down more than it should have been. I like the stock. I'm giving it one thumb up.'

Lucent Technology (LU)
Salesforce.com (CRM): ' ... those that stayed in it got their head chopped off ... the business has slowed, the margins aren't so good. In other words, stay away.'
Career Education (CECO)
Alcoa (AA): 'AA's costs I didn't like; their revenues I didn't like.'
