HP's Early Earnings Release Caused Tuesday's Dip in the Markets

Here is something to consider. Did you notice that Tuesday there was a sudden shift in market sentiment around 3:30PM?

We think we may have found what may have caused it. It looks like there may have been a premature release of the earnings for Hewlett Packard (HPQ) that appeared on sites at around 3:22pm. Below is a snapshot of the news feed that provided details of the earnings disappointment and the how HPQ shares responded.

Remember, the report was not due until AFTER the close of the market. OOPS!
