Since I last wrote on Peru´s Credicorp (NYSE:BAP) the bank´s NYSE listed American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) have risen by 31% in value, on the back of the bank´s ongoing strong financial performance. In this article I am going to review Credicorp´s financial performance in comparison to its key peers that operate in the Andean region including Colombia´s Bancolombia (NYSE:CIB), Canada´s Scotia Bank (NYSE:BNS) and Banco Santander-Chile (NYSE:BSAC). In this analysis I will review the bank´s key risk metrics including asset quality, coverage ratios and capital adequacy along with the bank´s performance metrics to determine whether it will still continue to grow in value and deliver solid value for investors.
