Tip For Amazon Grocery Savings
Amazon joined the growing online grocery industry with its launch of Amazon Grocery beta. They offer more than 10,000 non-perishable grocery items, with its inventory growing everyday. To entice new adopters of their foray into the online grocery business, Amazon Grocery has a couple of offers going on right now:
The first is $10 off a purchase of $49 or more, using coupon code "GROCERY2" at checkout (valid until 8/31/06).
Also, most of the items in the grocery store qualify for their Super Saver Shipping program. If you spend more than $25 on these tagged items, your delivery is free (see their site for more details)!

I can't speak for their prices in general, but one data point: A 12-pack of Annie's mac and cheese (a favorite in our household) is almost twice as expensive from Amazon Grocery as it is at Costco. Even if you buy the 24-pack, it's still about 50% more expensive per unit.
One look was enough. Their prices are ridiculously high.
This service won't last long.... Much to expensive...not worth it!
Prices on Amazon grocery are way high at list price. After they throw in complicated discounts for "subscribe and save" (15%), instant discounts (sometimes 20%) even then the price comes close to normal street prices only. For eg. I looked at Horizon milk 8oz containers, You can buy these at most Starbucks individually for $1.50. On Amazon they sell 18 packs (way too many for me) and after all savings they list it at 22. ($1.58 per piece on unit basis). Without discounts it was $28.47. I also looked at cereal boxes- way too expensive..
