Barrick Gold Makes $1.29 bln Offer For NovaGold

Gary Tanashian submits: Per news release. I have one thing to say; WHEEE!! While I am not heavily invested in NG, it is one of my core (compliments of an original find by Steve Saville a few years ago).

With NG's assets, I have long thought they'd be a nice candidate.

---Disclaimer: I may or may not sell this news, depending on the details. ;-) The same thing happened w/ Aurizon Mines (AZK) several weeks ago when Northgate (NXG) attempted a takeover. I sold that pop and re-bought much lower after NXG had set a nice valuation target.
