Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round segment of Jim Cramer's Mad Money Program, Wednesday April 8.

Bullish Calls:

Raytheon (NYSE:RTN), Lockheed Martin (NYSE:LMT): "I think both of those are terrific. Sequester turned out to be the best thing to happen to defense stocks. Go figure."

Williams Companies (NYSE:WMB): "I think that stock is so terrific. I can't believe it was down $1.50. I should have been pitching that one all day. It has a nice yield and growth."

Express (NYSE:EXPR): "That is a very inexpensive retailer."

Halcon Resources (NYSE:HK): "Halcon is good because of the bloodlines, but keep in mind it is speculative, which means it can go down (in the short term)."

Hertz (NYSE:HTZ), Avis (NASDAQ:CAR): "I like Hertz and I like Avis. They are both trying harder."

EOG Resources (NYSE:EOG): "I like EOG more than Whiting."

Plains All American Pipeline (NYSE:PAA): "That stock has had a big run, but I still like it."

US Airways (LCC): "I think US Airways could double in the next 18 months. It is my favorite spec in the book."

Bearish Calls:

Whiting Petroleum (NYSE:WLL): Cramer prefers EOG Resources.

Dole (NYSE:DOLE): "You have to own it on earnings (rather than as a takeover spec). I think Dole is just okay. I am not going to recommend the stock."
