In this article, I share the results of a screen for Australian companies that have grown their dividend each year for at least the past 10 years. I measure the dividend growth in local currency as opposed to United States dollars. Below is some basic information about each of the 11 securities that passed the screen. After, I give a brief description of each company.
This list is not meant as advice to invest but as a source of potential research opportunities for investors who are interested in diversifying their dividend growth portfolios internationally and are potentially willing to trade on non-US exchanges. In the event that an ADR (American Depository Receipt) is available, I give the ticker. Prospective investors are also cautioned to understand the tax treatments on non-US based dividend payers before investing.
