ProShares yesterday launched four more ETFs that enable investors to go ultra short in the international space. The four new funds are:
- UltraShort MSCI Europe (EPV)
- UltraShort MSCI Pacific ex-Japan (JPX)
- UltraShort MSCI Brazil (BZQ)
- UltraShort MSCI Mexico Investable Market (SMK)
Each ETF seeks to deliver twice the inverse of the daily performance of its underlying index. Earlier this month, ProShares released four international ETFs that seek to deliver twice the performance of their underlying indexes.

Specific leveraged ETFs could be very harmful to investors. Don't believe it? Read the prospectus carefully. They could go to zero if volatility are high and market trends/momentum are up on those specific countries. Be extremely cautious in using these leveraged short ETFs.Jun 19 10:47 AM | Link | Reply
