There is a little detail that most people missed on the Press Release about the strong sales number of iPhone 3GS (by the way, once again analysts were far behind the real number; consumer are clearly responding greatly to Apple's product).
The latest statement from an Apple (AAPL) executive has been attributed to Steve Jobs.
“Customers are voting and the iPhone is winning,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “With over 50,000 applications available from Apple’s revolutionary App Store, iPhone momentum is stronger than ever.” (source).
If you look back at Apple's PR of April regarding earnings, you will see that only Phil Schiller made a statement, whereas preceding press releases for Apple earning had a Steve Jobs statement.
I guess the return of Steve Jobs quotes means that Steve Jobs is maybe already back. It could be a small details that might means a lot.
