Not much of a change. It's starting to look like an L shaped recession with the L possibly inclining upwards later this year. Of course, quarter to quarter comparisons of GDP may produce "growth" once we have put in a really horrible quarter. Anyhow, my bet is on the companies that have shown they can make money down here at the base of the L (JNJ, PG, KO, T, WMT, MCD) - I think it is a much better bet than the bet on treasuries.
