Fiesta's Long-Term Growth Potential Could Be Unlocked By An Equity Issuance Or Merger

There is a misconception that value investing and growth investing are incongruent with one another. While there is no doubt that paying a high multiple on earnings and net asset value should be carefully scrutinized, but if the investor has a strong understanding of the underlying business and is confident in the long-term growth potential of the operation, then it can still be a highly profitable endeavor. It is my belief that Fiesta Restaurant Group Inc. (NASDAQ:FRGI) offers huge long-term growth potential and would benefit from a capital injection either through an equity issuance, spurring growth, or a merger with a better capitalized firm that can catalyze growth in new restaurant development, which ultimately would dramatically improve margins...
