Worthington Industries (NYSE:WOR), the largest U.S. processor of close-tolerance steel, is a surprisingly solid company. I say that because the more widely-followed steel and metals stocks like U.S. Steel (NYSE:X) have been beaten down tremendously over the past year or so. Worthington, however, produces specialized steel products that are less cyclical and produce higher profits that translate into solid revenue growth and a very healthy balance sheet.
