Restoration Hardware: Valuation Supported By Rejuvenated Brand

Restoration Hardware (NYSE:RH) is a very intriguing play on both the housing recovery and the economic recovery, the one that wealthy Americans are experiencing with more of their wealth tied to the rising stock market. Restoration Hardware has been in business since the early 1980s. The company, as many retailers do, expanded at a breakneck pace out of the gates which almost led to the company going bankrupt in 2008. Instead, Restoration Hardware, which was a publicly traded company at that time, was purchased and taken private for $175M giving the company time to retool and revamp its strategy. This time out of the public spotlight would prove to be just the recipe that the company needed...
