About this author:

I am sure by this time you have heard of Ron Paul. It is very surprising that more people have not taken notice of Ron Paul & his thoughts on the economy. His statements seem very realistic.

Watch this Ron Paul Video and let me know what you think.

been a ron paul fan for a long time.
i felt one thing that hurt him was he let the pundits and the entrenched put him on the defensive in the primary. i believe he is a good step in the right direction. he will need help from other elected constitutional public servants.

Great to see RP speaking spiritedly before those dullards at CPAC. Maybe some of them will wake the hell up and start throwing things at Rove, Cheney and the MIC warmongers.

Been a Paul supporter since 1993.

I'm a Ron Paul fan also...it's the rest of the Congress that I don't trust. Ron Paul will get the bill passed then Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi will take over and screw things up, along with Barak Obama.
We missed a good chance to have Ron Paul for President, however, in the debates the media wouldn't even let him talk; that should have told us something. Apparently no one was paying attention. Next time let's elect our President instead of letting the media do it.

Ron Paul doesn't look Presidential or have a commanding voice. He didn't pass the casting call. Find someone from Hollywood who can read a teleprompter and you might have a winner.

Look at how much power the Federal Reserve has unchecked. It's crazy when you think about it and realize they are unaudited. You could be naive and "trust" them for some odd reason or you could support the audit.

You shouldn't trust the people against HR 1207 either.

Sure...I'll be more confident in government if Congress has a say in the operation of the FED...and that's what RP's call is really all about!

If they can get an audit, they can use it to get their thumb on the FED.

What I respect most about Ron Paul is his "agenda" is about what he believes to be best for the people. It does not matter if you agree with him, though I do for the most part, what matters is his motivation to serve.

The way politicians vote for expediency causes huge harm to the country they profess to serve.

Imagine a body politic of people with the same code of honor as Paul, with different beliefs and opinions actually debating what would be best for the country - oh well, a man can dream...

Ron Paul Rocks! I think he held his own quite well during the primaries, considering even the questions directed at him were branded to mock. In retrospec, he made them all look like fools on the economy.

Considering he's for offering a competing currency backed by gold, I'd say that is if not among his goals, certainly an outcome he expects.

Ron Paul is more effective as a pundit and analyst than Presidential candidate. The same was true for Pat Buchanan. It's hard to disagree with Ron Paul's grasp of the economy.

We desperately need a younger Ron Paul. I supported him in his 2008 candidacy, but he will be too old in 2012 to go through a brutal campaign and convince voters that a guy in his mid 70s should be elected regardless of his positions.
