Alexandria Real Estate Has Plenty Of SALSA Potential

Today REIT investors have a wide variety of commercial real estate assets sectors to consider owning. It's not just the primary food groups anymore. In addition to owning office, industrial, retail, and apartments there are a variety of other sectors and sub-sectors that make REIT-dom all that more interesting.

As they say, variety is the "spice of life" and that's precisely why I look for value outside of the core food (REIT) groups in an effort to find the most sustainable income models. The REIT universe is becoming larger every day and that benefits investors as the REIT management teams are under constant scrutiny to differentiate from the alternatives in the marketplace.
