How Safe Is An Investment In Safe Bulkers?


In this article article I'll have a closer look at Safe Bulkers (NYSE:SB), a shipping company listed on the NYSE. According to the company, they owned 26 drybulk vessels, with an aggregate carrying capacity of 2.4 million deadweight tons. The average age of the fleet is 5.1 years (and is one of the youngest amongst its competitors). Their fleet currently consists of Panamax, Kamsarmax, Post-Panamax and Capesize class vessels. In addition to that, eight additional newbuild vessels have been contracted to be delivered at various times through 2015.
