China Sunergy (CSUN) is a Chinese solar company which used to exclusively produce crystalline solar cells like JA Solar (JASO). The company was forced like JASO, to start making and selling solar panels as the solar industry went through a brutal downturn. As supply overtook demand, CSUN could not find buyers for its solar cells. CSUN customers who used to be primarily pure play European solar panel makers went bankrupt.
