J.C. Penney (JCP), Target (TGT), TJX (TJX) : In spite of recession worries, Cramer reports that the consumer is alive and well, and comments that "business is smoking" at JCP, numbers are strong at Target, and TJX enjoyed a 4% gain in same-store sales.

Fluor (FLR): Cramer laments that the market still does not comprehend that infrastructure is good, and that analysts unjustly downgraded FLR over problems with three overseas embassy jobs. "Anyone who did their homework" understands why these mishaps occurred, comments Cramer, "But we don't do our homework on Wall Street."

General Comment: Airline and Security Stocks: Cramer hails the halted terrorist plot as good news, but does not recommend buying security stocks and selling airlines, except as "a convenient reason to ring the register."
