Stocks discussed on the lightning round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Friday August 7.

Bullish Calls:

El Paso (EP): "I loved that quarter… I saw the quarter come out and I said 'oh man I have got to recommend that stock'… you have got horse sense… that stock is headed up big."

Linn Energy (NASDAQ:LINE): "Let’s stick with it."

Nordic American Tanker (NYSE:NAT): "A lot of people did not like Nordic American Tanker's quarter, I liked it. I mean they reported the dividend, they give you what they want. Herbjorn (the CEO) said the right thing… they still have no debt… I have to side with that over General Maritime… I am sorry."

Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA), Verizon (NYSE:VZ): "You know, it was a good quarter…Did it have the growth that I wanted?… No… but it was a good quarter… I would not discount buying it but you know that I prefer Verizon just because of the yield."

Occidental Petroleum (NYSE:OXY): "I like OXY… it is very levered to the price of oil…it is a very well-run company. If you want to own an oil, I would sanction owing OXY… I think that it is a good one."

Halliburton (NYSE:HAL): "...actually I could not believe how well that stock acted after a quarter that I did not really care for… but you know what, I think oil is going higher… I think natural gas is going higher… that is good news for HAL… I want to buy HAL, not sell."

PPG Industries (NYSE:PPG): "Still has room to run because it has still got an accidentally high yield... they have done their best to diversity away from autos and go much more into China."

People's Bank (NASDAQ:PBCT): "I like PBCT, they have got a balance sheet that is a man of steel."

Bearish Calls:

Radian Group (NYSE:RDN): "No, come on man, that is a short squeeze…"

Targa Resources Partners (NYSE:NGLS), General Maritime (GMR)
