Stocks discussed on Jim Cramer's Stop Trading! TV Segment, Wednesday August 12.
China Unicom (CHU), Apple (AAPL), Research in Motion (RIMM), Cypress Semiconductor (CY), Cree (CREE), Skyworks Semiconductor (SWKS), Xilinx (XLNX), United Technologies (UTX), Wynn Resorts (WYNN)
Cramer continued to discuss the mobile internet explosion and cited the story that China Unicom has reportedly purchased 5 million iPhones, the same amount sold in the U.S. last quarter. While Apple has control over a mere 3% of the phone market, it has 40% market share for smartphones. Cramer would buy equipment and chipmakers Cypress Semiconductor, Cree, Skyworks and Xilinx.
United Technologies' strong performance was thanks to its heating, cooling and ventilation system; Cramer says the unit is "on fire."
Cramer reiterated his $70 price target for Wynn Resorts because of its clean balance sheet and strong business in Macau.
