BioAmber: Is It Too Early To Invest In This Sustainable Company?

Sustainable solutions to resource supply chain management will be necessary as the era of low-cost oil comes to an end. As a next-generation chemicals company, BioAmber (BIOA) utilizes a proprietary technology platform that combines industrial biotechnology and chemical catalysis in order to convert renewable feedstocks into sustainable chemicals. These products are intentioned to be replacements with petroleum-derived chemicals and are expected to be cost-competitive.

BioAmber intends to replace petroleum-based succinic acid in applications where it is currently in use.
