First Financial Bancorp: This Regional Is All About Shareholder Returns

First Financial Bancorp (NASDAQ:FFBC) is a $926 million bank holding company that operates over 120 banking centers through its subsidiary, First Financial Bank, in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. When last reported, the bank controlled $6.3 billion in assets, had $3.9 billion in loans and $4.8 billion in deposits.

While most banks have just started to tip-toe into paying out earnings through dividends and share repurchases, First Financial breaks the mold and has been doing both with its dividend payout alone just over 100% this last year.
