The most rewarding opportunities in the equity markets are those that are cheap, under-followed and under-loved, and have clear catalysts on the horizon. I believe that Amkor Technology (AMKR), which trades at a mere 3.0x EV/EBITDA, represents a unique opportunity to capitalize on a number of powerful secular trends with an extremely favorable risk/reward profile. I see limited downside, as shares trade within a rounding error of book value, while at the same time expect at least 27% upside on the name as the story plays out.
